Help Me Grow
"Help Me Grow" is a program for Putnam County’s expectant parents, newborns, infants, and toddlers that provides health and developmental support so children start school healthy and ready to learn. Services are designed with family concerns and goals in mind. Help Me Grow offers the following FREE services to Putnam County children age birth to three and their families who qualify:
- Service coordination for families;
- Evaluation of children’s growth and developmental skills;
- Parent support groups and information;
- Referral and information about programs supporting children and families on early education, development, literacy, and proper medical care.
- Home visits;
- Family support;
- A newborn home visit by a registered nurse to provide education, support, health & physical assessment of baby and mother.
- Prenatal visits to mothers that provide education, resources, referrals and helps to establish a medical home if needed.
