Putnam County Summer Migrant Education is a program designed for students of families who migrate to do agricultural work. 

This is the sixth year for the summer program at Leipsic School.

Summer School begins June 18,2003 and finishes on August 7,2003.

Activities at the school this year consists of:
Computers, mural panting, swimming, physics, math,and many more activities.

Bullying Prevention Program starts on June 26th

Field Trips:
Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo on Friday, July 31st, 2003

Field Trips:
Toledo University Science & Math Programs - Grades 3 through 12 will be held on July 14th through July 18th

Storyhour at Leipsic Public Library
The primary students visit the Leipsic Public Library for storyhour every Wednesday during the summer school program.

The annual Health Fair is held on Friday, July 9,2003

Helping One Student to Succeed (HOSTS)
This is the fifth year for this program.
This program is a reading mentoring program to assist each student individually how to read. Students and community voluteers spend a half hour daily mentoring students to advance thier vocabulary and reading skills. Reading strategies include the use of DIBLES and reading a-z.

C.O.S.I. on Wheels will visit with a program that emphasizes on physcial structures in our community.

On July 27 there is a Fiesta scheduled. It will be a family open house. Students and thier parents will gather at the school to talk about the summer school, eat, play games, win prizes, and much much more.
